Using Multiple Transformers to Feed One Load
Problem
Sometimes loads (e.g. signs or approach light bar) may require more power than the largest transformer we can supply (500W).
Solution
A simple fix is the use of two standard transformers in series - see following picture.

If it is desired to have the secondary earthed, only one of the transformers should have an earthing connection. (If both are earthed, the secondary of one transformer will be shorted out.) |
